Lodge meetings
Pelham meets on the last Friday of the month from September to May, nine times a year. It was traditionally pay day for many people. It still attracts both members and visitors, and makes our meetings varied, fun and relaxed.
Installation
Our April meeting is the Installation Meeting, when we install a new Master for the coming year. It is a grand affair, with 60 or more in attendance, including dignitaries from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Sussex.
Lodge of Instruction
We also hold Lodge of Instruction (LOI) meetings on the first Thursday of the month, from September to May, again nine times. This is where we learn our floor work and practise our ritual, just like actors rehearsing for a play. We tend to act up an office or two, so that we are prepared for the years ahead.
Each March we hold a Lodge of Instruction Festival. We invite a Provincial dignitary to see what we have learnt, and give a new team a look at the roles they may be moving into.
